  • Coffee, Energy, and the Eye of the Tiger

    A new blog...it's about time.

I really don't have anything to blog about but I feel the need to share my 7-11 story.  I was running a bit late this morning and decided to get a cup of coffee at 7-11.  They have this new coffee with "energy" in it.  I felt the need for energy since I've been working like a crazy woman on crack.  I drank all of my coffee on the way to work, which is unusual.  I usually drink half and then throw the other half out.  Not today!  I need all the "energy" I can get.  Now that the "energy" is in my system I really don't feel energized but I do feel crazy.  I want to spin around in my chair, go ice skating, swimming, last but not least go run around the block doing a rocky impression.  I also feel the need to sing "Eye of the Tiger".  Do I recommend this coffee?  Well...If you want to act like a crazy person on rocky crack all day then...Sure.  If you just need a little something to start you day...please just go for the coffee.

  • Day one of the Alien:

She arrived yesterday. I did not get home till about midnight so I saw her, hugged her and went to bed.  I survived the first day.  Tonight I will be seeing more of her since I am coming home after work.  Pray for me!  HELP!

Last night was fun...I sat in a car with some friends while we watched people look at their place.  It is up for sale.  Very exciting!  Watched the West Wing - it was really good last night! I really like Josh Lymans character - I hope they keep him on next season.  I do not like Amy - NO NO NO!  She is mean to Josh.  Next week looks good!

I love pookie, I love pookie, Yes I do, Yes I do, She is so pretty, She is so pretty, Hot Hot Hot, Hot Hot Hot!

Cant wait to see you - only 10 more days! XOXO

And Yet again - Kid in a candy store!  Yeah! That was me Friday night after the hockey game. I met more of the Norfolk Admirals.  It Rocked! I have decided that I can't go to meet them anymore until later in the season. I don't want them to think I am stalking them.  Oh well.

I went to my friend Sara's house today.  We had a lot of fun! I love talking with her.

I had a beautiful thought.  Tomorrow - or the next time it is warm I am going to grab a book and or my journal and write along the banks of downtown Portsmouth.  I always forget how wonderful that place is - I need to use it!  I have a date with a cup of coffee, a good book, and Olde Town tomorrow!  I hope!

At the moment I am not feeling so hot -  I think I might be getting sick.  It usually happens to me this time of year.  I've been drinking lots of fluids and so on and so on...

Thats all for now! Just watched the Notebook - I cried!  Good Movie!

Have you ever had something you knew could be more.  This is my year for more.  More in many ways.  More in my relationship with the Lord.  More in family - one addition! More in knowledge, more in friends, more of just everything.  I'll explain...

10 years ago my Dad build this house we currently live in.  I have a big family and we needed to move into the house right away so it was never completely finished.  There was a room connected to my room but not finished.  For years I have walked in that room thinking - wow I wish this was finished.  I always looked at it like a common place.  A capsal of comfort. A few months ago Dad suggested that we finish it.  I never really thought it would get finished but today I come home and it is in the works.  A place for a window is cut out - a floor is in - another place for another window will be cut out tomorrow.  How wonderful is this?  It is an answer!  A common quiet place.
